Yashidi Alhaji Yakubu, an indigene of Borno State has said he will not forgive repentant terrorists who surrendered to the Nigerian Military to accept amnesty.
Yakubu who stated this on his Facebook page, said that laying down arms by terrorists to end the war was commendable but it would be difficult to pardon them for the “Ungodly Act” of attrocities mated on him and his family.
Narrating further, Yakubu said “Boko Haram members to repent and lay down their arms is highly welcome and commendable, but I can’t pardon them as I am one of the victim of their ungodly act.
“After slaughtering two of my brothers; our beloved mother died as a result of high blood pressure for the pain and shock she passed through as a result of the killing two of her two sons by this members of the underworld and completely burned down my house at the same time.
“They even attempted to attack me but I narrowly escaped death with protection of Almighty Allah because as at the time, I was not in the house.
“How are we going to pardon those who slaughtered our parents, brothers and love ones and completely destroyed our life. They made us IDPs, traumatised and vulnerable?”.
