The Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari’s to arrest the lingering security situation in the country or resign.
Ganduje spoke through his spokesman, Salihu Yakasai on Friday while reacting to the recent abduction of schoolgirls from Zamfara State Government Secondary School, Jangebe abducted by suspected armed bandits.
Yakasai, who Daily Correspondents understands speak for the Governor and expresses his views, made the call in a post via his Twitter account on Friday.
The governor called on the President to deal with terrorists and bandits decisively or resign.
“Clearly, we as APC government, at all levels, have failed Nigerians in the number one duty we were elected to do, which is to secure lives and property.
“Not a single day goes by without some sort of insecurity in this land. This is a shame! Deal with terrorists decisively or resign,” he said.
