Three staff of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) that were working to restore electricity to Maiduguri have been critically injured when their vehicle stepped on an IED planted by Boko Haram close to the electricity distribution towers under repairs, Daily Correspondents can authoritatively report.
A security source who confirmed the attack to Daily Correspondents Saturday afternoon, said the three injured YEDC staff had their legs severely damaged by the blast.
