In a rare and unprecedented show of humility, former Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima, has described his successor, Governor Babagana Umara Zulum, as his “boss” after the latter completed a project he couldn’t finish while in office.
Shettima took to social media on Sunday to share photos of Fato Sandi Primary School which he said was built to 75% completion during his tenure but was recently completed by Governor Zulum.
The former governor said, “A great Succession is crucial to the sustainability of any Program and may Allah bless H.E. @ProfZulum and grant him Aljannah Firdaus. This is Fato Sandi Primary School.
“I left it 75% completed and my Boss, Governor @ProfZulum has completed the Project and is ready for commissioning. Borno is Working.”
