The suspension of Adams Oshiomhole as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been upheld by the Court of Appeal.
The ruling was delivered on Tuesday by a three-man panel led by Justice Mohammed Lamido.
Recall that a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja had ordered Oshiomhole’s suspension on March 4, 2020.
The ruling followed an application filed by some chieftains of the APC who sought Oshiomhole’s suspension as National Chairman on the grounds that he had been suspended from the party in his home state of Edo.
About 18 local government chairmen of the party in Edo had passed a vote of no confidence on Oshiomhole.
The High Court had ordered Oshiomhole to stop parading himself as the National Chairman of the APC, and barred him from accessing the national secretariat of the party.
