President Muhammadu Buhari and All Progressives Congress state governors have begun a meeting in Abuja.
The agenda of the meeting, which is taking place at the Presidential Villa, is said to be the leadership crisis rocking the ruling the party.
The Chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum and Governor of Kebbi state, Atiku Bagudu; Chairman of Northern Governors Forum and Governor of Plateau state, Simon Lalong; and the Governor of Jigawa state, Abubakar Badaru, were sighted at the venue at the time of this report.
Recall that on Sunday, Buhari and the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, had also met over the crisis.
Lawan had told State House Correspondents after the meeting that key stakeholders of the party would take some urgent steps in the days ahead to resolve the crisis.
