NEWS EXTRA: Is Ibrahim Gambari the new Chief of Staff to President Buhari?
President Muhammadu Buhari may have appointed a new Chief of Staff, according to news emanating from people familiar with the seat of government in Nigeria.
He is Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari, a Nigerian scholar and diplomat and an indigene of Kwara State.
He was Minister for External Affairs between 1984 and 1985.
Many people close to powerful individuals in Aso Rock, who operate different social media accounts, have started congratulating the new occupant of the seat vacated by late Abba Kyari, who died last month from Covid-19 complications.
