BREAKING: Shehu of Bama, Ibn Umar El-Kanemi, is dead
The Shehu of Bama, HRH Alhaji Kyari Ibn Umar El-kanemi is Dead.
Commissioner of Information in Borno State, Babakura Abba Jato, disclosed this in Maiduguri this afternoon at a media parley with journalists.
He said the late Shehu personally visited the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital this afternoon but gave up the ghost on reaching the hospital.
The cause of his death is not immediately known but sources within the Royal family said the monarch has been battling with health issues for quite sometime now.
